The WKM microwave level switch is hardly be affected by dirt, fouling, or scale adhesion on the sensing surface with 24GHz frequency. It even accurately detects the paper garbage, which has been almost impossible to measure by other detecting methods.
Principle Of Operation
WKM microwave level switch consists of a transmitter and a receiver, facing each other. As soon as the transmitter transmits 24GHz microwaves toward the receiver, it provides an output of the contact signals that the tank is empty. When there is an obstruction between the transmitter and the receiver, microwaves are reflected and absorbed, thus it outputs a contact signal that the tank is full.
Installation
A transmitter and a receiver should be installed in such way that a terminal is respectively aligned either on the same side or on the opposite side.(Install both the transmitter and the receiver in setting to the zero degree or turning them by the 180 degree. When they are turned by the 90 degree for intallation, it does not work.)
