In this short video Roy gives an introduction to the field communicator features of the Beamex MC6 advanced field calibrator and communicator. The MC6 has communication capabilities with HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus.
In communicator mode, you have the option to change the units/variables on the device. Afterwards, it is easy to save the configuration to a file to capture each variable in the transmitter at it’s current state. You can then upload the saved information to your computer for further analysis/documentation.
