RAYOMATIC 14 is an infrared compact transmitter composed by two pieces:
– A miniature sensing head
– A separate electronics
Due to its design, numerous options and 8 – 14 µm spectral band, RAYOMATIC 14 is suitable for a large number of industrial applications, even when the process installation is hardly accessible or involves high temperatures (see below for main applications and specifications).
RAYOMATIC main features and models
Choose between 8 different models of RAYOMATIC 14, with common features and specificities listed below that allows you to target all kinds of process industrial applications:

– Monitoring high temperatures to 1000°C 
– Accessing to small and high ambient temperature areas with a miniaturized head protected to 180°C
– Detecting fast changes of temperature in the process monitored with a short response time of 150 ms (90%)
– Making measurements on a very small and defined target with a 95:1 optics or close focus lens

Spectral range: 8 to 14 µm 
Accuracy: +/- 1% or 1°C whichever is greater
Repeatability: 0.5% or 0.5°C whichever is greater
Emissivity: 0.100 to 1.100, manually or digitally adjustable
Response time: 150 ms (95%) 
– Analogue output: 20 ms (90%)
– Digital output: 4 ms (50%)
Signal processing: Peak hold, valley hold, average
Tamb:
– Sensing heads: -20 to 180 °C (25:1 head) / -20 to 120 °C (HS 14:1 and 2:1 heads)
– Electronic box: 0 to 65 °C

– Relays x 2: 60 VDC/AC, 0.4 A, optically isolated (optional module)
RAYOMATIC 14 Alarm Programmable alarms
High and low level alarms can be set using the instrument keyboard or from PC. The alarm status is displayed by the display backlite color (blue / green / red). The alarm can be connected to the optional relay output board.
TTS – True Target Size laser pinpointing TTS
A dual laser pointer defines the true size of the target at different distances. This unique and innovative system goes beyond the limits of the former crossed laser pointer based system. TTS guarantees the correct area diameter is being measured along all the optical path.
Event log
With the optional event/data logging interface, users can record measurement samples as well as events such as alarm status or overheating, with date and time. Data can be read from the instrument or with a computer.
